Green Code Lab Challenge 2014

This year, the Environmental Campus Birkenfeld is again participating in the Green Code Lab Challenge.

Within the challenge teams of 3-5 students of international universities compete against each other. They have to proof of their programming skills in order to optimize a given source code regarding its energy and resource consumption. The challenge will take place on 26th to 28th of November, thus the teams have 48 hours to improve the code.

International competition is big: altogether 350 students from 7 European countries will participate in the challenge. We will keep our fingers crossed for the team of the Environmental Campus Birkenfeld!

You can find more information about the Green Code Lab Challenge 2014 here.

Next to the challenge there will be presentations in the context of Green IT or rather Eco conception. The conference will take place in Nantes and Angers and can be followed online.
